For those of you interested in painting on linen or cotton canvas mounted on hardboard, this is an excellent method. I have used it in the past with success. I would add to Andrea's instructions: use a Thrifty Trowel multi-use spreader/scraper to even out the Golden Soft Gel Gloss before laying the canvas down on the panel.
I did this with Elmer's years ago. It seemed like a lot of work. Maybe I should try it again.
