Painting in the French Pyrénées Workshop

I'm excited about plein air painting in France this coming spring during the Painting in the French Pyrénées workshop. Our wonderful hosts, Sydney and Bill Patten at Bellemaison in Ore, France will be cooking delicious meals, taking us on painting excursions and outings in the countryside near Ore, France in the foothills of the Pyrénées. This ten day workshop is a once-in-a-lifetime artist's retreat happening in May 2-12, 2014.

I am preparing a special syllabus for the workshop to include plein air and studio painting, sketching and photo trips, critiques and demos as well lots of one-on-one time to help you move your painting to the next level. This will be a great opportunity to paint without distraction.

The retreat is filling up with a few spaces left. We have a seven students limit, which makes for a great class size! I hope you can join me.

I invite you to visit my Website and Bellemaisons website to learn more about this workshop set in the idyllic French countryside. There is nothing to do but paint, relax and enjoy the stunning views, food and wine.

Below are a few of photos and a slide show of Judy Taylor's workshop there. She's a very talented artist and friend who taught at Bellemaison in spring 2013. Please feel free to share this with your friends who might like to join us in France this coming spring - when the fragrant roses are in bloom.
