Last Shack Standing - oil painting

Two Saturdays ago, I wandered around Mount Desert Island looking for a place to paint. It had to be in the sun but out of the wind. Not any easy task. But, something caught my eye while driving bye Eagle Lake - this handsome green ice fishing shack with a puff of smoke coming out of the stack (the smoke wasn't white - no gathering of Catholic Cardinals in that tiny structure as far as I could tell). It was a perfect spot - out of the wind and in the sun. Yay! This is the result. I'll probably tweak it a bit in the studio. Enjoy!
